Who we are

At Leopard, we create personalised holidays to Africa. We are a small, boutique company focused on creating immersive holidays for our clients.

Our absolute focus is our clients and their journey. To achieve this, we put your specific requirements at the centre of our planning. We ensure that every hotel, every room, and every experience is specially selected for you.

We live for travel and its ability to allow us to suspend reality and to explore, dream and discover the world and ourselves. We love nothing more than hearing from our clients how happy a particular experience made them or how an encounter with wildlife in the bush changed them or how much their children learned from a trip to Africa.

Leopard was featured in the National Geographic Traveller – Africa Collection. Read the feature here. We were also featured in African Safaris Magazine.

7 reasons to use Leopard

Leopard is a member of SATSA. This means that SATSA has checked that Leopard is legitimate and properly registered, financially stable, legally compliant, fully insured and bonded (guaranteeing your pre-tour deposits).

Tailor made

Every travel experience is specially curated for our clients. This means that we handcraft every single itinerary to ensure that it matches perfectly with our clients wishes. From the most beautiful beaches to the most adventurous safari, from the most sensational views to the most authentic hotels and tour guides, we will stop at nothing to make sure your needs are met.

Specialist

We are true Africa experts. Diana Granoux, the director, was born and bred in Africa and knows the region exceptionally well. She says, “I ensure that I visit each location and hotel I work with to ensure that their standards remain impeccable, and I continually update my “little black book” with new spots and hidden gems. I want to be able to recommend the perfect hotel and the perfect room in that hotel for every client.”

Seamless

Nobody wants any glitches while travelling, especially in Africa. Our meticulous planning ensures our clients have a completely seamless experience, but in those instances where something goes wrong, we are available 24/7 to solve any problems.

Responsible

We specialise in curating itineraries that apply sustainable travel principles. One of our core company values is to support the conservation of biodiversity through travel. We recommend longer stays in each destination, supporting local small businesses and visiting off the beaten track attractions. It is important to us that our clients respect the local environment, culture and local residents. In this way, the impact of your holiday is positive both for you and for those whom you encounter.

Commitment is what transforms a promise into reality

– Abraham Lincoln

Personal

Leopard is a small business and in this way we can offer a personal experience. We want our clients to feel as if they are dealing with a friend, not a faceless corporation. Keeping our business small and personal allows us to keep costs low and give our clients the attention they deserve.

Convenient

Crafting your ideal holiday can be a time consuming exercise, especially if you do not know the region well, or are travelling in a large group, such as a multi generation family holiday or for a special celebration. Our clients time is precious and so we encourage them to give as much or as little input into the planning process as they would like. We are committed to taking your requirements and then distilling and simplifying all the info out there into a perfect itinerary for you.

Independent

We are totally independent and not affiliated to any group of lodges, so you know that you’re getting the best itinerary and choice of accommodation on offer.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sail. Explore. Dream. Discover.

– Mark Twain
